My Bi-Monthly smile

I use to manage a factory in Toronto, use to visit once every six weeks. Nice folks, what scared me was property prices and cost of living. No way I could afford a similar property to what I live on over here and probably won’t be able to harvest deer on my own property 2 1/2 miles away from the city.
Very true but Toronto is the New York of Canada so in comparison to that, Toronto's cost of living is less.

Cost of living has climbed over the years for sure.

Once you get outside the urban sprawl, we are kind of rural with lots of open spaces....I live in walking distance to our little city but am in a rural municipality and pay rural taxes vice city taxes and am surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of acres of open spaces. 4 wheelers and side by sides are everywhere in my neighborhood and yet I can see the flags flying at the mall.
