3. Daytona Beach Gov. just arrested for absentee ballot fraud.

and uhm..whats up with Meg Whitmen spending $140 million of her own $$$ campaigning for a job that pays $200,000 a year?

things that make ya go ....hmmmm. :banghead:

God? :please: Help us all.

Wasn't it the candidate for Florida governor that 'cheated' during a debate by getting a text mssg from their campaign leader ? Said campaign leader was later shown to be a lobbyist for the very orgs the candidate is speaking out against !
The whole process is as we are........screwed !
Need to march on Washington and flush em all down the toilet !

Just another day in politics. The politicians have gotten more pathetic as time goes by and we're supposed to elect and support these sorry individuals. I don't know if I'll see it in my time, but I feel a revolution of some sort will eventually occur. And deservingly so.

As long as we're talking politics

I think the country almost united in agreeing we need to oust the current administration. There are a few with their heads still in the sand though.

So what's wrong with spending YOUR OWN $$$$ for YOUR Campaign ??? ? I would much rather see that, than the slugs we have now spending the same amount and then owing Millions to some Bus. Group or some Bone Head Political Group :beerchug:

whats wrong is the fact they have that much money to spend on a campaign...the common man has no chance to run an effective campaign and our country will continue to be ran by the 1% and no honest individual could ever be elected

The fact is, would YOU run for public office if you had the money?

Not me, even though I'd do better than half these bozos...the truth is, it's more about POWER than MONEY. Most of the Dems never ran a real business; they are all lawyers (Obama, Hillary, etc.), while most of the Republicans were business people before getting elected. I know which one I'd choose.

Our best and brightest don't usually become our elected officials, albeit a few have decided to go that route after being successful elsewhere (Forina and Whitman).

Yeah, except Obama never actually practiced Law, nor has he ever had a real job. - I find it hilarious that he managed to successfully BS a lot of working class people into thinking he had anything in common with them. He is an elitist, as are all of the Democrat leadership.

He did practice law for a couple years, let's be fair. He worked for a civil rights law firm, mostly behind the scenes though.

I think the point being made by Jinks there was, $140M for a $200k/yr job seems like a losing proposition. Job must have some HUGE perks that we're not fully aware of. Maybe Blanca is right and it's about power? Although, I'd argue $140M wields a lot of power if used correctly.

I agree though, it's an elitist party up on that hill there, isn't it?!:banghead:

LOL! - Working as a Civil Rights activist is not the same as practicing Law. He was nothing more than a community organiser/trouble maker.

Meg Whitman is not about the money...she's paying back by SERVING and using
HER OWN MONEY OF 140 million to prove she is sincere and not behold to special interest.

If you were in a position of wealth and felt your country NEEDED you...

We need to put the SERVE back in govt' not the big payday...she of course
doesn't need the big payday.

Kalifornia is goofy as hell and has the highest concentration of :stoopid:
I know of. I saw where 8% of the population thinks their state is moving
in the right direction..."but lets keep voting democrat" :banghead:

with cap and tax sitting in the pipe, I don't understand how ANYONE can
vote democrat ??? not to mention the list of bungling and socialism already
exposed.
