MPS auto air shifter

I just put an MPS auto air shifter on my Busa and when it shifts my FI light comes on is this normal and if not how do i fix it

I think this is common occurance heard there was a way to keep the light out.

Common. Make sure the time delay is right.

shorten the delay until it doesn't shift right then add a few mils back in, that will keep the FI light off. The bike is just registering a fault in the ignition, if you turn the bike of and start it again the light resets, nothing to worry about. Mine still does it off and on even with the delay box set as short as i can.

MPS light is normal. There is probably no way to get rid of it. I called MPS and talked to DAN about it (the owner). He said "Some older boxes would Not turn the light on, but would not shift on all bikes. Newer boxes will shift on All bikes, but usually turn the light on."

It has nothing to do with the time delay.

I was annoyed at first, too, but you get used to it......

What they said above. Mine is on after the first shift. Shortening the delay doesn't turn it off - makes me miss shifts ..

Doens't hurt anything.
