danny thompson owner and operator of performance toys was one of the best when it came to building a busa or old gsxr,he passed today. and will be missed at the track, i won't to send my prayers to his family. he will be at the hartsell funeral home saturday from 6 to 8.

danny has been fighting cancer over the last couple of years.i couple of years ago it was in remmission,but it came back.he was a dedicated racer at the strip and engine builder and a stand up guy.after it's return he gave up racing from being so weak,even though he had the cancer he would build the engines for his customer on the days he didn't have to have to go to the hospital for test or for his kemo treatments.he enjoyed making the zuk's go fast and prove people wrong about what he could do to a bike. he will be missed. he's racing that 1/4 mile in heaven. godspeed danny
