there is gno need to drain the gas or oil tank, no need to disconnect the battery either. the driver just loads 'er up on the lift and settles 'er in the trailer with the other bikes.

I had a bike shipped using Daily Direct (haulbikes.com). It took a while for them to pick it up, but they moved it quickly and safely once they had it.
Most of their drivers ride, so they do seem to take good care of their cargo
