Best price i found from Cali to South Dakota is $599 highest was $925.

they specialize in taking care of our two-wheeled-honeys with door to door service.
there is gno need to drain the gas or oil tank, no need to disconnect the battery either. the driver just loads 'er up on the lift and settles 'er in the trailer with the other bikes.
i'm having my '03 LE shipped from pennsylvania to maine (this is close to 1,000miles) for $398. they had a special deal for the month of january.

You could also try <a href="http://www.forwardair.com">Forward Air<a>. They shipped a bike for me pretty cheaply and with good service.

I had a bike shipped using Daily Direct (haulbikes.com). It took a while for them to pick it up, but they moved it quickly and safely once they had it.

Most of their drivers ride, so they do seem to take good care of their cargo
