Okay best deal here in Dearborn Heigts Michigan goes to State Farm..

Good driving Record.
here are the quotes..
Full Coverage, 500 deductible + 5000 Medical
LA Insurance=$4911
Progressive = $2950
Geico = Does not cover Motorcyles in Mich
AAA = Does not cover Hayabusa model
GMAC = $800, but Hayabusa (and all sport bikes are now longer covered.
Sentry.com = $8000  (Cant believe that one)
AIG = $2700
SafeCo = $1300
StateFarm = $650

However.. with State Farm, i have to also insure another Car or House with them.  Also the want to photograph the motorcycle's condition if you want full coverage.

Hey killer, I lived in Detroit my entire life prior to joining the military. Best bet, try Allstate or State Farm. The key with them will be playing with the numbers. Another issue is going to be Detroit, once they hear the city the rate is automatically pegged to the moon. I lived on the east side of Detroit, was 21 at the time, perfect driving record, and had car and homeowners insurance through State Farm and was paying nearly $3,000 per year because it was the city. Best bet is having your address changed to outside the city, i.e. family member who lives outside Detroit. Use their address, police officers and teachers do it all the time seeing they have to live within the city in order to work their, part of the union contract. These things might help you a little bit, Detroit is a hard place for insurance rates due to weather, accidents, and theft...
