Yes there is a God and he wears No 46 and his name is Valentino Rossi and this year he rides a Yamaha.

Fantastic race last Sunday with Rossi being hunted down by the Honda pack of Gibernau, Biaggi and Tamada. The main straight was the key to the race with all the Hondas powering past Rossi until the next corner when he outbraked them all time and time again. The race was in two parts after rain stopped it with 15 or 16 laps done. Second part was a 6 lapper but it stayed dry and Rossi won that as well. He was at 10/10ths and it will be interesting to see if he has "physched out" his main challenger, Gibernau who looked absolutely shattered. On the other hand, Biaggi seemed well pleased with a third place.

Big crash was Nakano on the Kawasaki which blew a rear tyre on the main straight when flat out in top gear at 210mph (?). One severely danmaged bike and the rider tumbling head over heels towards a concrete wall which eventually he touched at probably 2 mph, lucky man! Tamada suffered a front wheel flat after going through the Nakano debris.

Nicky Hayden crashed out again and don't know what happened to Edwards - he's not got his mind set right yet although he may not be getting the latest parts from the big H even though he's in the same team as the Ch'ship leader, Sete Gibernau.

MotoGP goes to Catalunya,Spain next Sunday and then the Dutch TT at Assen on 26 June. REMEMBER the Dutch TT is rune on a SATURDAY.

Happy viewing
