MM rode a whole season with it popping out. they can give up a few 3 & 4 place finishes and still smoke everyone. I'm sure HRC isn't happy but not worried yet.

Oh well. If Lorenzo misses another season (gets too far behind the points leaders) that's going to be a shame. Honda needs to get the max from him right away, not sure how long those two can work together in the same garage. Remember Lorenzo claiming he didn't see the pit boards when he was holding Dovi up?

Likely the reason for Ducati's recent press releases concerning the "relationship" between Dovi and Pretrux. Gigi Dall'lignia trying to get the two in lockstep (trainers, Psychologists, setup etc. ) heading into the season rather than the two vastly different approaches used with Lorenzo and Dovi last year. Dovi and Lorenzo didn't like each other, in much the same way Rossi and Lorenzo (hell even Spies and Mladin come to mind) never were best of friends, without coming to fisticuffs. But you could argue that those combative atmospheres produced some pretty damn good on track action at the same time! Looking forward to seeing how Marc and Jorge get along this year, especially in light of everyone in the paddock looking to lure Marquez away from Honda next year! If that was to happen, Honda would be in dire need of a new number 1 and the next Marc Marquez is not on the Horizon just yet IMO. So Lorenzo may be the Hedged bet of HRC (Alberto Puig honestly) just in case.
Lorenzo will get along with Marquez just fine right up until Marquez cuts him short in one of his classic (safety be damned, I don’t give a shiite about anyone else, including my team mate) corner passing moves.

Any word on what Yamaha has done to the M1? I heard more power obviously but they are so quiet.

You will have to wait until February 4th for the Official Yamaha press intro. Repsol Honda is tomorrow, Sepang Racing Team (New Yamaha Satellite squad) is the 28th, Ecstar Suzuki is the 31st and KTM is waiting until after the upcoming Sepang Test to reveal the Red Bull factory and Satellite (Tech3) teams on the 12th.

That and the lack of carbon is intriguing. No carbon Ohlins fork or carbon swingarm, both of which Marquez raced on in 2018. More show bike than race bike I presume.
That swingarm and those GP spec fork look beautiful , well the whole thing looks that way I guess , very trick !!
