Personally? I have never met a single person white or black that made 100% good decisions and I have yet to base my ideas of the quality of any decision made just because a guy is white or not white... (or even by gender)

Give the race thing a friggen break already... starting to sound like an excuse more than anything... The paranoia is getting old and it really does not bring anything to the table..

I think the vast majority of the members here are way past racism and if someone feels any different, then I doubt they have met very many of them in person..

Agreed on the people that won't work I have offered a job to many people that turn it down. They would start out making close to six figures and say no its now for me. Leaving me with a big WTF! Look on my face.

Same as my buddy that's a general carpentry contractor. Pays a guy then the guy gets offended its less than 15 an hour and says I aint neva coming back.

There has been plenty of criticism of Obama on this site without involvement of race. I agree 100% that he has flaws, and has made mistakes, I'm not blind. There is also an undercurrent in certain segments of society regarding his race, you are a fool if you deny this to be true. I didn't play the race card in this thread, just pointed out what had been said. If the person that said those things feels as if race was at the bottom of it, so be it.
If you think I'm a racist, again, so be it. Those that know me in real life know how laughable an idea that is.

And I do not believe that people are pointing at his race as a matter of fact.. I think that is being pushed so far out of proportion that it is almost silly... Anyone in fact at that end of the spectrum really can not be all that intelligent in the first place.. Our future can not ride on some guys race.. At the same time, he can not be making decisions based on his own race...


Point is I am sitting here looking at the implications of an executive order that in essence gives a foreign intelligence collecting agency "carte blanc" in our country... maybe you do not see it but i can see where our own govt could use them to do things the FBI or any other law enforcement agency certainly can not do... This makes the patriot act look like a hall pass...

That whole statement is an oxymoron. You assume I'm not white by what I posted. either you have an idea of my race, or you don't, but it obviously matters to you or you wouldn't have brought it up.

You think that the fact he is the first President who is black is being pushed out of proportion? Seriously? And anyone that thinks it's important is so far at the end of the spectrum that their intelligence is questionable? What color is the sky in your world? Because it is obviously a different color than that of the world in which I reside.

The Patriot Act removed or suspended from us some of the basic rights and liberties guaranteed by the constitution, the executive order you speak of simply allows Interpol the same immunity from prosecution as any international diplomatic organization. As pointed out earlier in your thread and evidently ignored by you, Interpol doesn't have any troops to come kicking in your door, they simply gather information........
Any who to clarify, I'm not accusing you, Justyntime or anybody else of racism. I don't know you, thus I cannot make that determination. Some posts could be taken to mean something other than intended, or they could be taken exactly as intended. Just sayin.........

Absolutely. If you believe you know me through posts I have made, so be it. If your assumption of who or what I am is incorrect based on the limited amount of insight this forum can provide, I will not lose any sleep over it.
Of the number of members we have here, statistically we have murderers, rapists, child molesters, thieves, drug addicts, alcoholics, cheats and liars amongst us. None of us know each other from merely reading posts on here. We share a common interest, and some genuine friendships have resulted from interaction started here. It's a great place for sure, but it's not the sum total of who any of us are.
If anybody here needed help that I could provide, even those with whom I have had vigorous disagreement, I would not hesitate to get them what they needed.

Thanks for the heads up Bogus. The thread was very interesting and alarming. I could see how easily the government could pervert this order. Sorry you got such a ration of crap over it. I know you were only trying to share it with the rest of us, but you know some on this board get their panties all in a wad when anything negative is associated with the mesiah. It's all good.

On a side note I don't think Jeremy (Mr. Brown) was trying to playing the race card. He just has a much higher opinion of the prez then the rest of us. Don't worry, he'll come around eventually when he figures out all of the politicians are screwing us, white, black, democrate, republician, it doesn't matter. At the end of the night they all go home and laugh at all of us while they all rob us blind.

to be honest with you, the thought never crossed my mind until you posted that.. (and if you even had a remote idea of who I am, you would have known that already) and the reason I figured you are not white is that you "did" post that...

There is a definite double standard IMHO.. I would not make the statement as it would appear derogatory no less than I would post the "N" word... However it would appear that many think it is just fine for a black person to say or post such statements... (and I do not agree with that, no one should be using the terms IMO, equality swings both ways, or supposed to I guess, some day it might for everyones benefit)

I love my Country!(that does not mean I love the lies and sham dancing that have steadily increased from our political "leaders") This nation was founded on beliefs that I hold dear... I go to sleep every night THANKFUL that I am not the citizen or subject to the laws of any other country. Why then would I want to try to make this country like all the others?
There will come a time when I will stand in my home, perhaps in my open door, and know I will have a choice to make that will change my life forever...and all perhaps in an instant...I know this, and if you will wake up you will know it as well. I have already made my choice, I simply wait for the day that someone forces me to show what that decision is.
