Yep, gotta get one in the spring, I have a Black 98 GT now, but I have to purposely avoid the dealerships for now, I love the new look. I think the 4.6 is still around, but they have more horsepower than the 5.0, at least my 98 (4.6) versus a 95 (5.0) does. Seems weird smaller displacement, but more horses, the 05's have 300 HP right of the line
Ok, here goes (I'm long winded as I am a Mustang God/know-it-all) I know more about later model Mustangs than early.
79-04 Mustangs are a Fox based 4 link rear, modified MacPhearson strut front. 05-?? chassis is loosely base off of the same platform that a Jaguar (not sure which one in particular) and the Lincoln LS , when I say loosely I mean loosely they had to change so much its practically a different chassis. But the 05-up has a three link with panard rod rear suspension and a standard MacPhearson strut front suspension.
