I was reading on Gixxer.com about using a R1 throttle sleeve to make a 1/5th turn throttle on our GSXR600 or the adapter made by BRGracing.com. Im wondering if anyone has tried one on their Busa? Ive got a buddy that uses the BRG one on his 2 GSXR race bike and simply loves them. He claims the throttle control is much better because you need less hand and wrist movement to reach full throttle

I've got R1 and R6 versions that I'll be trying on mine pretty soon...

Im using an R1 tube on my Busa and it works great leaves a little space between the end bar wieghts and the throttle though not noticeable realy.

r6 professor go r6 you want go back
So if I understand that right, it takes less rotation to get to full throttle? I wonder how long it would take me to change my riding style for that? I'll watch the professor for a bit and get his reactions here in a bit. Another dumb question. How well does it work on the street?

The R1 works great on the street. It's like putting a 43 sprocket on the rear. The r6 is too much for the street. I would just use that one for the street.
