Once again, I was lucky enough to spend 2.5 days with 21 fantastic people.

The final mileage was somewhere around 900 give or take, most of which were backroad twisties in the beautiful state of Oregon.

This is typically the best ride of the year for me...this year was no exeption.

We used Fossil, Oregon as our base camp. The Wilson Ranches Retreat is an incredible place...Phil and Nancy took very good care of us.

Now for some pictures...

Then it was off to the "big" town of Maupin, Or.... a short 30 or so mile ride that took us....uh.....like maybe 15 or 20 minutes...:laugh: We kind of took over the one and only gas station in town..

From Detroit, we (unfortunately) had to slab it thru Sisters and on to Prineville...Thank God Tufbusa had a radar detector! :whistle: Up to Mitchell, Or, and back around to Fossil for a kickbutt steak dinner!

As usual Mark, I had a grand time! Great group, great hospitality at the ranch, excellent food, beautiful country roads topped off with the aroma of Mark's cigar while enjoying a cool drink at the ranch in the evening! :beerchug:

Teresa and I actually put on 1,604 miles in our 5 day adventure. Your ride is always my favorite treat of the season! Already looking forward to next year.

Day two was borderline epic....for me at least. We headed out of Fossil at roughly 9AM, after a killer breakfast from our hosts... going east this time;

Another line of very nice machines.. We had a very diverse group of bikes.. FJR's, a Concour, a VFR, a couple CBR's...my little bro showed up for one night on his KLR... he had some difficulty keeping up on the straights for some reason..:whistle:

Here is one of the CBR's...unfortunately, it didn't look quite as good the next morning...had a minor off-road excursion...

Glad everyone had a great time. Now I'm really depressed. I did get my Busa back on Monday, so all is not bad. :beerchug:

My hats off to Mark for this opportunity. I was so pleased to meet all of the members from here that I did! What a group of professionals and all around nice people. It is amazing how you set out on a journey with acquaintances and by the end of the trip you consider them close friends. :beerchug:
