New owner here, and as the title describes I'm missing the bolts from my 05' Gen1 that attach the pillion grab bar. I got the cushions and washers though (from what I see in the blowup pictures, these are only used for the bolts in the front, as in closer to the front of the bike. There are 4 bolts in total. Got two questions:
1. I understand that the bolts would need to be M8x35 in size?
2. On another site a fella said he had been trying the correct size bolts, but the grooves from hardware store ones wouldn't fit. Anyone know what the correct "thread pitch" (not a native English speaker sorry) is so I could try and get ones that fit?
I know I can order them from a dealer, but I'd need them quick so that's why I'll attempt to just grab them from a hardware store.
