I know i'm going to, thinking about switching over to the dark side and becoming a cheif warrant officer in the national guard.

it's all good, i kind of always wanted to be a CWO, the master of my MOS "job". you still get to lead and work with the troops unlike going officer and then it's administrative mostly. i don't think i could ever be a paper pusher and be on the complete dark side hahaha

Nothing like being with Brussels sprouts and see them grow. Stay enlisted.....you will miss soldiers when you go to the dark side. The service is not for making money. 22.5 years and still love being with the troops.

Things have changed a lot with the ranks... I'm afraid the master of my MOS went away and became part of the normal enlisted ranks. This may change though with the additional tech coming back into the military. We may see the spec 5, 6, 7 etc again.
