mid pipes on a 07

hi anyone know whats inside the link pipes on a 07 .
as someone said theres catalitic converters in them..
any one know if busting them out if there in there will give more hp
and sound with race cans ..

There are no converters inside the mid-pipes on an 07. You can see from one end to the other with them removed. I have an extra set and just checked them. However, they are double walled with some kind of insulating material between the walls.

The midpipes on my 07 did not have anything inside them; the stock header had a bulge on the left side exit that may have a cat in it but I never looked to see. Your best bet for more power is a full system that replaces the stock setup...

No catalitic converters on an '07. Those were a blessing first bestowed on the Gen 2s.
