Meta alarms

I HAVE A META 353A ON MY 2000 BUSA
AFTER A WEEK OF NOT USING THE BIKE THE BATTARY IS FLAT .
IS THIS A COMMON PROBLEM?

With alarm systems, unfortunately, yes. They are always drawing a load and the batteries are very small to start. 10 Ah (which, realistically is more like 5-7.5 Ah) won't last long with the load of an alarm system.
