I decided to go with corner speed so 4 of us are gonna go and rip it up a little. The other 3 have been before, this'll be my first track day. I'm pretty excited.

friend is coming by sunday to explain the intricacies of safety wiring.

got my new diablo's coming, new brakes. Already splurged on a spine protector a while back so I reckon i'm good to go.

May try to score some new SIDI boots before then.. but i dunno.. the oxtars may hafta hold upa while longer..

hehe, the toe sliders may as well have been a chunk of mild cheddar as fast as they wore out.. unfortunatly the end of the boot didn't hold up well to pavement.. got a small ventilation system in the bottom of them now.. all I gots ta do is lift my toes up and -AHHHH.. cool breeze on the toes.. hehe.

but the basics are safety wire the oil fill cap, the oil filter (how often to oil filters just fall off anyway?)
change out your coolant to pure water, or water wetter,, whatever... as long as it's not glycol based.. and uh.. full leathers, spine protector, and a 5 yr old helmet, or newer.

thats pretty much it.. tape over the headlamp, mirrors, signals and the like.
