master link stock chain question

i want to replace a swing arm for a friend and i have to take the stock chain of to reuse with the new arm.I will be using a rivet type master link.The question is can i safely use a ek mvx,mvx2, or zzz master link with the stock chain.Or what should i use.

You have to utilize the master link that is designed for that particular chain. You do not want to use an EK master link with a zzz chain.

i used an EK master link with my ZZZ chain...the only problem that i had,was the EK master link is plain colored where as my ZZZ chain is all gold..but no other problems..
