Man its Fuggly but the Kawasaki H2SX, is the bomb,,,

Looks like they just found a bunch of parts and bolted them on to a bike. No fluidity in lines anywhere. Specs look very impressive, but like you said...not much in the looks department.

I’ve seen em and honestly I like the looks of these vs the original H2. Not in the market for another heavy sports touring style bike but if I was I would be tempted to cross over to the “Dark Side”......

The price is on par with the current crop of elite bikes. Ducati’s and Beamers all run about mid 20’s. This bike has pretty much the same tech bells and whistles, hard bags + a blower.

Ok, I'm eating my words...that bike is in the ball park of where a Gen 3 should be. Not sure what else you could throw on a motorcycle in the category.

I must be to cheep 24k??? Bike is cool but it’s at a car price.

Got about 9g in my busa.... are these faster than my busa??? I don’t know.

Stock? Hell no. The stock H2 got whooped by an S1000rr or just barely kept ahead of it. With a little work, that bike could be fast but I would much rather go with an aftermarket turbo rather than work within the limitations of the stock supercharger on the H2. It is a cool bike but if you really want fast, you're still better building your own.

The H2 SX ...well if you want it slowed down a little more and a lot of weight added, I guess that's fine for touring but that's not what I would buy a sportbike for. the H2SX does have a cool display and nice stock quickshifter but I'd prefer the old H2.

This bike is the Hayabusa's competition. If Suzuki can't beat this bike, there done for. You can't build a bike in this class for less than $20K in my opinion. I just hope Suzuki doesn't build it on the cheap. Put a real marker down.

Well I question whether or not Suzuki's heart is in it. I'm sure after being so close to literally closing the doors Suzuki got a lot of the fight knocked out of them. Just hope there's a little more left.....

I'd like to ride it...looks like the seating position is more upright than the Busa.

220-230 hp is possible.... on a gen3 NATURALLY aspirated... ALL NATURAL .... NO VIAGRA... with over 100 foot pounds of torque... wink winkl... what WAS the peak torque on that H2? crickets.

Yeah , time for Suzuki to step up , and damn the consequences ... I don't want to ever have to make excuses to any arm chair motorcycle expert , I want this Gen 3 to be undisputed King of Fast !! :fire:
thing is nowadays.... with forced induction... there are ways to turn up the boost/change supercharger gears.... WITH ENORMOUS RISKS..... to me... an ALL NATURAL 220 hp is much much much much more attractive than 220 with a blower (kinda disappointing results for forced induction).... considering a stage 1 RCC turbo setup gets 250 or better(on dinosaur motor technology)............... if Suzuki can crack 230 on motor alone(gen3)... with the associated zMUCH better torque.. this isn't even a choice.... ANYONE CAN ADD A BLOWER.. u WANT an unbelievably strong BASE (motor).

Not quite that one. This one, maybe. After a few basic mods.

The H2 SX is fast but it would take a little more work to get it up to the standards of the H2. I think I heard you can get a high performance turbine for it...matbe some other parts but then why not get the H2 and put some saddle bags on it?

The H2 probably could be brought up to the standards of the H2R if you could get all the H2R parts which last I heard, you can't but if you could, you'd be rebuilding it every 1600 miles or whatever ridiculous interval Kaw specced for the 64,000 dollar H2R.

If you ask me, a built busa or 14 makes a lot more sense. I'll bet you could build a 600 hp hyperbike for less than a $50,000 H2R that only makes 300 hp. And it will have the aeros and high speed stability those bikes need to do over 200 mph. ...and don't forget the torque for when you're doing under 100 mph. We get that all the time!!

If power is the main issue, a hyperbike is still the way to go. Just takes a little more work but better results.

ALL THESE 240 plus hp bikes have the rpms bumped WAY up.. hence mooooore boost.... its NOT a QUESTION of HOW MUCH.... but HOW LONG ...
