Tired of the marks from boots , wanted to reduce some weight , and had a little carbon fiber laying around .
So I came up with this . Now after market rear sets are nice , but not great for touring like I do so the factory units serves well . All in i saved 5 ounces ( just over a 1/4 pound ) Next week Ill be doing something to the break side rear set , but wont save much weight maybe 1 to 2 ounces .

Oh that heave seat is gone , backrest is for the son who rides with sometimes , but ti bolts hold it on :) I have to get her to scale but with luggage
and racks she is still lighter than stock by 25 pounds . Got another little mod coming to save a pound

Great job, had mine powder coated many moons and miles ago and they are starting to show some wear too. Keep waiting on that Gen III
