Lowering the brale pedal with buell pegs

I got the Buell pegs on, but run out of adjustment when trying to lower the brake pedal... Does the screwed adjustment rod with the rubber boot just pull out of the cylinder ? it wiggles around and I've tugged on it, but it wont budge.
Need to shorten it by 1/4" or so.

when i had buell pegs i cut the rod at the spot where there is no thread. than it gave it enough room for it to be lowered.

...thats what I want to do..but I need to get the rod out..does it pull out ?

no you do not have to remove the threaded rod. just raise the nuts and cut off with a dremel

yep. you can also use it to chop off the air brake. the rear finder. i used a cut off wheel for the dremel. good luck
