Lowering straps

What do you guys think about lowering straps?...are they safe?...i bought a bike already lowered and it has a strap in the front...should i take it off?

Using front lowering straps is generally NOT recommended for the street. They are generally only used at the drag strip where cornering is not a concern. There are other ways to lower the front for the street that are much safer. I use a 3/4" Genmar riser (see pic). Genmar makes a 1" as well. Good luck!

Ditto. Actually the larger Genmar in a 1 1/4".
