lost my father this morning

It is with great sadness that I post about the loss of my father this morning. Although he lived to the ripe old age of 96, just weeks before his 97 th birthday, we are never ready to say goodbye to our parents. He will be buried near our farm in Georgia where he grew up and spent his years in retirement. Love you dad, may you rest in peace.

Mine was about the same age. I was pretty prepared it was coming. Dad had made peace with life and with death and I was at peace with that.

Still you will find times that you will miss him. No matter how prepared you may be.
