The rider ending up underneath the car makes me think he was on the deck before colliding with the car.

Learn to use your brakes folks. Locking the brakes during an emergency is not conducive to a good outcome. Once you lock the brake you have lost all control and from there on out you are just along for the ride.

If we practiced using the brakes as much as we practice using the throttle we'd have far fewer crashes.
