Looking for options regarding tail mods

I'm looking for options for potentially replacing the tail section of my 2011, I don't like how the stock tail looks on the gen2, and if some crazy expensive gsxr 1k conversion is the only option than I'll keep what i have, however I do like the look of the gen1 tail, is there a way to make that change happen? or is there other options that are clean looking like that? I'm open to suggestions

Welcome to the forum. There’s been people in the past that swapped tail sections between the 2 generations. From what if seen, is just a matter of sourcing the fairings and subframe to bolt to your bike.

Do something with it like clear housings and switchbacks! Or tinted with hot bodies covers! Don’t get rid of that tail
