looking for a new chain for the busa

Stock sprocket setup on Gen II is 18/43 with a 114 link chain.
I agree on the Supersprox sprocket. Really nice piece-o-work.
I just put on a new RK chain. It carried almost same part # as oem just is not gold.
Had to have the sprocket carrier powdercoated black to match the wheels although by now I think they are doing diff color carriers ?

In fact Uh duh.....I still have OEM Sunstar silver sprocket as well as OEM gold chain from when I changed things over. Both had 2400 granny miles on them. I only adjusted the chain once in those 2.4k and that is all it needed.
I don't think I ever really 'broke it in' ? The chain was cut off so you will have to get a new master link for it.

I've had great luck with tsubaki Sigma chains for years,big HP and lots of beatings and drag races and never a problem!!

Stretched like 2 times and thats it!!...Had a ZZZ on My GSXR1000 and it kept getting loose..

I check it often, every other ride and run just under or just over an inch of slack.

What kind of chain were you running?

Do you think it's premature demise was from riding in the Desert?
