Look Ma no feet!

Ok, I didn't get pictures, but I "rode" the Shadow today at Indian Camp Creek Park and managed to get my feet up off the ground. Yippppeee!!! The Shadow does feel alot better than the Bandit. BW was wanting me to put it into 2nd and ride it home, but I am a slow poke and like to get use to things on my own. And I managed not to drop it. Practiced my looking. Definitly need different boots. Anyone have any recomendations on Ladies riding boots. Right now I have the "Walmart steel toed working boot" that has like one inch mega tread soles.

This is what I accomplished today. Baby steps indeed!!!

I got mine out last weekend on Saturday. The whole time I was riding I kept hearing DOC in my head. The route I took was all rights too (my right turns needed work).

Oh....but I did get into 4th gear.

On a Busa yes ( 80 MPH ) You did well. Made it out and back; and that's what really counts

Got it into 3rd gear (20 mph) and made it to the parking lot at the far left of the map!!! Even saw a baby snake along the way. Still practicing on looking. I wore tennis shoes today. I know bad, but it really did make a difference in being able to "feel" where my feet are suppose to go. So definitly will be getting new boots. Would have made it to 4th gear, but speed limit was 15 mph on the walking trails (paved).

Yippee so excited.
