Local Iowa Track days

I know there's at least 3 or 4 people on here with an Iowa address, maybe some hidden ones.  Anywho, a friend and I are heading to MAM for the beginning track riders class on Thursday April 15th.  It's $195, plus food gas, lodging [if interested] bla bla bla.  Let me know if you are intereted.  I will be locking in my reservation to the class this week.

it says something about having a certificate of your track riding ability? Where do I get this and how much to get certified?

er.. I dunno, I think a couple of classes lets you get a beginner license, provided you do well. then you should be able to do track days anywhere. i think. i hope. Road America, here i come!

fstbusa, if you've NEVER been on a track it is SO worth the time and cost of admission. words can not explain the fun. look what happened to Oracle.... DING! Addict!

yeah never been on a road track.... been to a dragstrip but not on the busa.(this spring/summer). I always wanted to try out a road coarse some day.

well, save your money and do 2 free sessions with NESBA. It's what turned MY world upside down! In 2 20 min sessions, rode harder, faster, better, tighter, safer than I EVER could on ANY open road. It's simply amazing.
