I accomplised an easy way to adjust my lights.

1)Turn your handlebars fully to the left(bike on the kick stand)

2)Prepare a tool like the illustrated below or similar with a 10mm socket

3)With your knees on the ground and the help of a torch locate the 10mm
bolt (arrowed )under the rpm indicator

4)Insert the tool and by the help of your finger(pointer) you will locate where is the bolt to engage the tool

5)turning the bolt clockwise the lights are lowering...and counterclockwise are lifting

.Mine..oem setting needed a lift of two full turns(counterclockwise)for driver only on the bike

yea funny the married the adjustment of the high and low beam on one adjuster..

Good thread... :)

[Nice man, good job.
I went the "hard" route and used a 3' ext on went under the guages and stuff...But I got it right where I wanted it...

There is indeed an adjustment for left/right....

If you simply remove the four plastic push-pins that retain the lower chin cowling in place, pull out the chin piece, voilà, there are the adjusters sitting right there for easy access.

The LOWER LEFT one is the vertical adjustment. Crank this 10mm nut CLOCKWISE to raise the beam.

The UPPER RIGHT one is the horizontal adjustment.

Thanks for the tip!! Just tried this and it worked great. Quick and easy:thumbsup:

Indeed, thanks for the tips!

My high-beam was off to the right from factory. Now once it warms up a bit here I can correct this.

So, lemme get this straight:
There are 2 vertical headlight adjusters on the bike?
Lenny

No, the top one is for horizontal and the bottom one is for verticle. it is a one piece housing for both lights.
