Lifting a Busa

Need to put on an extended swingarm. What is the best way to lift the Busa to do the work? Obviously I can't use the rear wheel stand........

Get a short piece (about 12inches) of 2" X 4" and place it under the oil pan. Use a floor jack to raise it slightly. Now this only works if you have a front stand already in place. First use your rear stand to lift the rear. Then use the front stand to balance the front. Then use your wood and floor jack to lift the bike slightly in the center. I've done it like this many times without fail. There are other ways, but this one works for me.

Did you take the side body panel/covers off ? No problems with the weight of the bike on the pipes either when jacked?
