JL fan here, proud owner of 2 10w1's on a 6 channel and 5 years later it will still lob my rear view mirror off the windshield with some authority. In a truck cab you really don't need much, if your going for raw volume some upgraded mid and highs along with an amp that runs those speakers will go a long way.

My last system was a Nak head unit, several 4 channel Audison amps and a combination of Focal and Dynaudio speakers. Also used alot of Dynamat and Dynasorb and this was in a Toyota Tecoma. Sounded AWSOMME!
