. If you have been is there anything that is really worth while to check out and what to avoid.

I love Vegas. I go every year. Be prepared for people handing you flyers for escorts. These people are everywhere. They stand in the middle of the sidewalk in your way trying to give you a piece of paper. If you can, walk to where ever you need to go. Most cabs will rip you off. NEVER let them get on the interstate. They will say it saves time. It does not. It racks your bill up. McCaren airport isn't that far from the strip. Where are you staying at? The shows are pretty good, but they get expensive. Most start out at $85 a ticket. Hope you have fun. I'll be there in August.

You are going to have a great time! I usually go to checkout the architecture and people watch. I don't gamble much but last time I went a co-worker gave me twenty bucks to gamble on Roulette. He told me "black 3". Well 3 is red so I split the money on just the color "black" and other half on red "3". Hit on 3 and an hour and half later was up $650.00. I call my friend and told him and he about choked. It was fun. There is a lot to do there. Take the time to go see a show of some kind. Have a fun and safe trip.

I am staying at the mandalay bay

Mandalay bay is nice. For all the money that is in the city, you don't really have to spend that much. I had a lot of fun walking around Caesar's and some other places just looking around.

I also second the no cabs thing. You can get shuttles to pretty much anywhere, and walking around vegas really isn't a bad time anyway.

So you'll be on the south end of the "Strip". There is a railway that will take you as far as Excalibur(I think). From there you can walk to most of the other places. I'm jealous. Wish I was headed there.

Woohoo Vegas baby!! I want to hear all about it, leave nothing out. Make me feel like I'm right there with ya!

J/K, hope you have a great experience; maybe I'll see ya!

I go to Vegas a lot and you have to really stay away from the cabs and look for the free shuttle that takes you from hotel to hotel. The Rio hotel is really nice to go to to watch the parade in the skies and there Seafood buffet is to die for. The Regular buffet at the Wynn is really good. You have to do as much walking as possible and in Vegas you can drink liquor anywhere even while walking along the strip. Enjoy and tell us all about it when you get back...
