what would it even need it for? I didn't think the ECU was advanced enough to retard based on knock. news to me 2

well it does seem to help bring in lambs
ya know you can get over 300hp with only 6lbs of boost...
just don't ask about the a/f ratio, boost creep, type of fuel, durability, etc... everyone likes to see the big 300 number

yeah for the slaughter...unfortunately.
something I try very hard to help others avoid.
Sad its being allowed....but anyway....I didn't think so. Haven't disected an 08 to know for certain...so I asked. Thanks for the answer.

yep, huge turbo, high a/f, race gas and won't last long....
shame that realistically.....stock injectors on a gen 1 max at roughly 270 on true "pump gas".
reminds me of the "ace of spades" era that so many people ended up gettng burned on.
