Guys, I'm having a maxx ecu fitted to my quad project, and the guy wants to add a knock sensor, but I'm unsure where to pet it.
I'm not going to drill anything now so looking for an easy location
I was thinking about here, and modifing the bolt,
Any ideas would be great

So, reading through the old link posted a guy mentioned a long cam cover bolt, would this work?
Do I actually need a knock sensor?
The quads being tuned by Sean @ big cc and the ecu has built in widband

Many thanks for all your help so far

I'd put it exactly where the guy that supplied the ecu wants it, assuming he has experience with Hayabusa engines using knock sensors. The placement is very critical with regard to the knock sensor settings.
