Kitchen Remodel

Very nice James, Did you install the Granite yourself or just the backsplash? I rent my house but the home owner gave me a $1000 allowance to freshen up the kitchen which hadn’t been touched since the 70’s. There wasn’t enough to go solid surface counter tops so I tiled the floor, the counter tops, the back splash, painted the cabinets white, a new white sink, and a bronze faucet. I also painted all of the cabinet hardware bronze. I’m not a fan of tile counter tops but it was the only thing I could do and stay with in my budget and anything was better than the fake wood grain Formica tops that were pealing all over the place. I didn’t take any before shots but here’s what she looks like now, I did all the work myself.

That looks great Charlie. I did tile counter tops in the bathrooms at my previous home.

Looks great, James!

Michelle and I want to do the same...need a complete kitchen re-do...

I'm jealous! My kitchen is 18 years old now; it really could use a facelift...

Looks great!! You two did a great job
