kinda a dumb question but need to know

when my wife took my bike to the painter some how the black plastic part between the frame and side fairing got cracked. I hope that made sence and wish I had a picture to clear it up if it wasnt clear. I am trying to find out if anyone makes an after market smooth painted or paintable one or if I just need to buy stock and sand and paint them. Thanks for the advise!

You can find someone who has replaced theirs with the carbon fiber inners, or see if anyone is parting out a bie here on the forum. Be the first things I'd do.

thanks do you know the tech name for it... i dont think people will know what part I am talking about then I say the damn peice my wife broke by tieing the bike down wrong

Most just refer to it as a trim panal between the tank and fairing.

yep, inner trim panel (left or right) side is all I've heard them referred to as.
