20100821_9.jpggoing to be around for awile, enjoy the site lots of info. my main question is, and iv'e already searched this, but still not getting a clear veiw of what is best. what gear and rpm's r uguys in on the highway while doing around 80-90 mph. i have been in 6th at around 4500 rpm, and yes im getting the numb hand effect. adjusted the clutch and brake levers to my natural hand position, and use my abs to hold myself up, hands still go numb. i am going to order the grip puppies soon let u know how that works. im comming off a tl1000r (02).

Wow thats a pretty cool busa. I like that one sided swing arm... that is the first single sided i can say i actually like

thanks enjoying the hell out of it while the weather is still good. any thoughts on the vibrations, and another ?. do u ride with your fingers resting on the break lever, im starting to think that's were the vibrations are comming from

Depend on how much vibration your feeling. Umm ill have to consciously see if i ride with resting my fingers on the levers, i cant say off hand. I would say I dont if i had to guess

Welcome! That bike looks real good. I'm usually between 4000 and 4500 RPMs at that speed, but don't have any numbness issues.

I do both. Ride with my fingers on the levers and off. As for the numbness, work on using your back to hold you up and not rest on your hands. It'll take a little while to get used to but it helps.

yea i have been doing that for awile now, but im still getting that numb feeling within a 20min on the eway

Wow! that 05 has got a bunch of bling, I am liking that color combo.
They all got that buzz at 4500 RPM's in 6th, drop below it or above it and she smooths out. There are also some other mods that may help by altering the riding position slightly reducing the weight you put on your hands/wrists from leaning forward constantly.
Lowering seat height - Corbin seat, Tobin/New Image seat mod
Raising Bars - Heli Bars & or Risers

Oh yea .... Welcome :welcome:

My thoughts on the Vibration and numbness, Check and make sure those aftermarket Bar ends have some weight to them, Stock ones are quite heavy to help with the vibrating, alot of aftermarket are Aluminum and dont weigh squat which allows the vibration to make it to the hand.

thanks for + comments and for the info on the vibrations. will try all and let u know how it worked out
