wanted to know if you or anyone else had any info on a lightweight fuel tank. i now need one urgently. BAD WRECK! i should be back on my feet in about 5 weeks. i need alot of parts.

No it is less, there are two variants

an OEM configuration with regard to attachment and fuel pump (X-1)

and the other being a race tank, with a internal "kit pump" and stand alone pressure regulator, and a quick release mounting set up.(X-1R)

Tanks come delivered in rough aluminum finish, the tank pictured was polished.
They are produced in Japan.

How about 5 pounds lighter and greater capacity? Locking gas cap, no corrosion coating to plug the fuel pump. OEM bolt on.
And a sin to paint.............

jeffw, stuck at home have to stay off my feet for a week or so for the swelling to go down. i have some free time now so i will also look for something. i will let you know of any news.

Magic Bus, there was supposed to be a euro carbon fiber/kevlar tank available this January but it still has not appeared. Another domestic company offerd to construct one but wanted me to pay for the mold construction and then expected to keep the mold as theirs....

So for tanks the Aluminum, OEM, or "imaginary carbon/kevlar" are the choices.

The **** * from Fuel Cell in FL will not return my e-mail at all. So I suggest that we forget this guy.
