I have been straying away from street riding. I did keep a stock tail with a light so I can go out if I like though. I plan on mostly doing trackdays, with an occasional race.

Thanks! and sure you can ask! I went through quite a few bikes and ended up with a 2000 R1. I loved it! But i like to drag race, and liked busas too. So I sold the R1 and bought an 03 Busa. As much as I loved it I missed the fun the R1 brought to the plate, the brakes, the curves, the wheelies, the trackability. So I picked an 04 R1. After a few months I could not afford to keep em both and decided that I enjoy the R1 much more and the bus had to go. I absolutley love this machine, and plan on keeping it. But I had a nasty crash and decided to turn it into a track bike. Its a little much for my skill level, but that just makes it more fun to ride!!
