Is the water pump serviceable?

Has anyone rebuilt a busa water pump before? My gen 1 water pump is starting to leak antifreeze through the little weep hole. I think this means the seal is starting to fail. I would like to replace the seal instead of paying $250 for a new pump!!

The seal is sold separately through suzuki. I'd pull it apart first though before ordering as it may be corroded inside making it difficult to take apart.

There will be 2 seals you will need to order aswell. You can get LUCKY and not have to replace them. Lucky being the operative word.
