Is it true a completely new bussa for 2004

I think we would have heard something by now if it was ALL NEW for 04!
I think it will just be some new lame colors (with 03 graphic schemes)! Maybe the Blue/Silver again that Japan got for 03? Come on Zuk give us a little something!
Maybe they'll change it up for '05 with Honda punching the XX out to a 1200cc for 04!
As for something coming out that's faster (TOP SPEED), I don't think it will happen. The reason the Busa was limited was because government agencies were going to stop importing them. It’s just stupid because 186 MPH and 195 MPH isn't really much of a difference on the street, both are just insane for public roads!

besides after you find out about the '04 you still won't beable to buy one till Dec. at the soonest

I was thinking they might bump the torque figures for even QUICKER acceleration...since they "can't" build a 200 MPH bike anymore, they might just make a dragger out of it...
It sucks that they passed that ...whatever...because with the changes in engine technology Suzuki has put out since the busa...it would probably be even closer to a 200 MPH out of the box bike. I'm curious to see if Triumph's efforts will cause Suzuki to put out a faster bike though. Be cool if it ended up like the cars in the 70's...manufacturer rated it at 170 HP, real output was more like 340 just to keep insurance down. Or they could do like Aprilia did...just cut the pink wire and you get a buttload more horsepower and a better fuel map. I'm anxious to see!

With Triumph going for the speed record with their new bike, perhaps Suzuki will make the Busa more powerful and faster. I guess it depends how seriously they are willing to take their "gentlemen's" agreement to limit top speed. Either that, or they'll make it more comfortable for sport-touring.

I talked with my local dealer. He did not expect any changes, he made a good point though, said that the Busa was kind of in a class all to itself with no real competition except maybe the zx12, but even then it still is a bike that stands alone.
He did not feel there would be any changes this year, maybe next or the year after.

I'd like to see the new 1K and 750. Supposed to be radical new changes with those, as jeffw suggested a while back. He did mention a lighter busa, but nothing else significant.
What is it with all these 'exhust-under-tail' factory jobs EVERYONE is doing now. Sure, it's cool and all, but whatever happened to originality? :tounge:

I knew they were redesigning the 600 & 750 to look like the 03' 1k but I haven't heard of changes to the 04' 1k?
I wish they would do something to the Hayabusa but since I just bought a Special Edition 03' I would be kind of pissed if they punch it out CC's and changed a lot!?!?
You guys better post it as soon as you hear something!

One of the dealers where I am looking at 2003's called me today and said there were no changes (except color) - unable to confirm on internet yet.....
