Irish Northwest 200

I saw some really wild videos on youtube over the weekend on the Irish Northwest 200 race. It is an annual race in Ireland the week before the Isle on Man TT event. Check it out!!!! Search on Irish Northwest 200 and many videos will pop up. It is a similar "no holds barred race on country roads and city streets except it is rider against rider instead of rider against the clock as is done with the Isle of Man TT events. Unfortunately a 30 year old up and coming star was killed in a crash on May 19. You have got to check these videos out. They run this race rain or shine, the action is incredible, 170+ MPH passes on country roads. I did not realize how many events these European riders compete in: Ireland, Isle of Man, endurance races in France, Germany and Japan. If I had the money and did not have to worry about work I would love to check out these races in person, better yet ride the courses, at speeds within my skills.
