Tough to know when to believe this crap or just say BS, you don't want to take responsibility? Just to easy to claim a medical problem or age, like the elderly car driver who went bowling for people in a farmers market in Cali.

This is a true story. It has been followed, and written about several times in the AMA magazine "American Motorcyclist".

The AMA is lobbying hard for stricter laws/punishment for cagers who harm/kill motorcyclist. A lot just get off with probation and a traffic citation.

A politician and after all it was just a motorcyclist. Probably a big fat 0, probation and license revoked.

One of the charges he was found guilty of was Manslaughter. Not sure what the max/min penalty is for that, but at least he was found guilty.

Should have been either, Vehicular Homocide, or Negligent Homocide.

Oooohh...I bet he's got a "failure to yield" violation now too.
