When I first got my bike I called around for rates...getting more pissed off with every call.....$3300 to $1840(which is what I'm paying now). Being I'm 36, no recent tickets, married, kids, even promised not to use my cell while I'm ridin. I figured I was a pretty low risk, but they kept telling me they didn't give a f#%$ and this was going to be my rates while I was on this bike.

Anyway, I called GMAC Insurance last night and got a quote for $447yr!!!!!!!!

I've been with State Farm since I was 16 (29 now.) before I bought my bike they gave me a quote of like $525/ year with a $50 deductable.  Then after I got it I saw several posts on this site and also talked to a couple people around my suzuki dealership and heard #s like $1800-$3000.  I was starting to think my insurance co. had made a mistake and was going to make an adjustment of a couple thousand to my rate.  Glad to hear someone else has gotten a reasonable rate.

The point is:  <span style='font-size:13pt;line-height:100%'>Shop Around!</span>  Especialy if you have a good driving record.
