Two months and 6 days old , 3315 miles later, here's where the '06 is at.
Did all the services myself, switched to Amsol synth 10/40 at 2300 miles. Rear tire is about 600 or 700 miles from the bottom of the wear indicator. A dark smoke double bubble. Did my own mod to drop the front peg height by 3/4". Cut the back of the undertail. Heli-bars on order. Joe Rocket tank bag, full gear.
I ride 104 miles a day to and from work M-F as many days as weather allows. Bike gets 41.8 when I'm nice, gets under 38 when I'm naughty. Long straight country roads on the way to stretch her legs.
This bike is one of the smartest buy's I have ever made.
Nothing like 40 mpg, a thrill when you want it, and stares everywhere you go.
The best bike ever built for the money!!!
