Idle and surging in neutral.

Hi folks - I didn't know if I was at the right place at first, I see a lot of changes to the forum..... all good :)

So. My busa is idling at around 1200rpm from cold. It's been like this since I returned with it from the last service 500 miles ago, I haven't used it much and have only recently paid it much attention.

And once it's warmed up thoroughly, in city stop start traffic, when at the lights etc, it's idling rough surging from around 1500-1800rpm.

It's a K6 US market busa, mods as follows.

The air sensor was moved up the intake last year.

Last year prepping for some top speed runs, I removed some electical bits and bobs as directed on this website I think and fitted a good tre.

It has standard front pipes with cat and two Racefit cans.

Apart from that and the K&N there the only mods.

I could just take it to the technician who worked on it but wanted to get a few ideas first.

Cheers :beerchug:

check your throttle cables and make sure they arent over tight,I had the same problem after i put chrome switch housings on,I over tightened the throttle cable and when i just slightly turned the front wheel she would throttle up,i mean "the slightest " of turn......
