Idle adjustments

Good afternoon. Have an '07 with 4800 miles, idle at warm has been floating around 800 and I've actually stalled a few times when teh clutch is in and pulling up to a red light (darn red lights). Anyway, how do I adjust for a '07 and what is the recomemnded idle @ warm? Thanks

The search function may provide a picture. I use a very long screwdriver just above the right side fairing panel to reach the idle screw on my 06. Until you get it adjusted you can raise the idle by using the left hand throttle switch (its not a choke lever) just an idle raiser...

talk to Vman1300(Kevin) at Mr.Cycles he can hook you up with an idle mod parts you need to adjust your idle whenever you want without a screw driver. I bought one for myself and another board memeber and we love them. Look at the sponsors page for the link or send him a PM.

I wouldn't use loctite on the threads because you have to use that idle screw to set the rpms when you're synching the throttle bodies.

Just use a very long screwdriver.

Just as easy for me to prop up the gas tank. It's right there easy to get to.
