Idle adjustment

Does a shop have to do it or can I do it? I hate spending all that money at a shop and losing the bike for a day or more.

you can do it yourself

while sittin on the busa, right hand side, just above the case inside the faring, you can see a knob with out takin the faing off, looks like a little preload knob for your shock, give it a turn clockwise to increase throttle, counterclockwise to decrease.

2001/2002 does not have the remote idle adjuster. Just lift the tank and look for the throttle stop on the right side of the throttle body. Adjust the screw at that point.
