I sold my busa around two years ago to move to california. well long story short i move back home to kentucky and im buying another bike with my taxes. im a machinest and fabricator by trade and im wanting to buiid my own turbo kit. so i wanna get a jump start on the exhaust manifold and airbox. what is the ID and OD of factory headers? what is the OD of the throttle bodys where the airbox bolts up? thanks for any help guys.

Save yourself a headache and go with a bigbore setup. Much more street friendly. I will never turbo another bike.

Isn't a turbo useless unless your turning at least 8,000 rpms? And isn't turbo lag when your not there. I don't know just asking..

??? wat issues are u having exactly. I know many who have almost 10k miles on their turbo bikes with ZERO issues making over 250 rwhp on stock internals. try that with a big bore kit and it will be anything but street friendly.

i have fully built a few turbo and twin turbo cars. if you know turbos, their systems, and how they work, they will treat you well and have zero problems with a little maintenace.

this all depends on your setup, like piping size, deadtime on your fuel reg., the sizing of the turbo it self, commpression, head work, cam sizing. theres a ton factors that play into having turbo lag or having full power/boost in lower rpms.
