I’ve decided to put my Busa back together. Since I crushed my slip-ons I think I’ll go to a four into one system. I know there has been a lot of talk about the different 4 into one’s but I didn’t really read many of the posts. I was hoping for some suggestions. If you have any information please post it concerning weight saving and Hp increases. I have a power commander so the re mapping is no problem. Also I need to replace the windscreen, so I could use some help with that also.

Check out the Akrapovic system if you can get a glimpse of it anywhere. They seemingly always make more power with no additional mod's needed for the bigger HP numbers.
Sorry, I don't have a web site, but I can probably get you a deal on one of their systems. They come in full stainless tubing w/a Cabon Fiber or Titanium can. These are the best I've seen, with least increase in noise and the most increase in power at the same time.

You may be able to scope Akrapovic Systems on the LockhartPhillips website!!

I have the Akropovic system with the carbon. I also have the Power Commander. My bike dynotuned makes 167.7 hp and 101.9lbs. at the rear wheel. The only b*i*t*c*h is Dynojet doesn't have a map for the system yet so be prepared for a heavy dynotuning bill. I also have airbox mod. I would recommend The Yoshi, Micron or the Akropovic, I think they are all good pipes. The price I paid for the full race system through Lockhart was $895.00. I also paid for 115dyno runs $465.00. I don't know if Mike at hi-per sports sent his info to Dynojet for the mapping. If Dynojet has a map for it , I would get the Akropovic, if they don't you might want to get a pipe with a map already set for it like a Micron or Yoshi if money is no object I would get the Akrop. The power differences between these pipes are not significant. I just like the Akrop because it looks and sounds great. The bottom line is you are going to pay a lot more for the Akropovic for little HP difference.

I have the micron titanium full system and a power commader 2 i got 16 horse power from this. I just raced a zx11 with 2 over on the pistons, modified cams, had the crank lightened, trans undercut, ect ect. He spent 6000 dollars for all of this work. I absolutely killed him. We did 2nd gear roll ons and 3rd and fourth and blew him away so bad that i thought he was gonna cry. The only thing that saved him was that he owns a busa too.......so I guess this is a true case of having your cake and eating it too............lol at one time he was in fourth I was in sixth and at 70 miles per hour we took off. He pulled me at first but at 140 i caught him and made mince meat of him..........so The pipe and power commander kicks *** ............a.s.s.

i have the micron/pc2/airbox mod also but i believe the pc2 map needs some tweeking. the bike just seem to run alot better at some times than at others. i needed to unhook the airpump to get it to stop blowing flames out of the exhaust on decelerations. but when it runs good it runs REALLY GOOD ! after a couple days on the dyno im sure itll be ironed out pretty well. im going to have them download the new map onto a disc for me if they can. if you would like , if you buy a micron i might be able to send you the map im using. its easy enough to change them around that it might be worth trying.
